Quality
- Mantels are constructed of top-quality wood to be
more dimensionally stable than lower-grade composite wood mantels.
- The moulding is hand-milled from solid wood with
attention to architectural detail and precision typically found in
custom construction.
- Our finish sets us apart. The stain is hand wiped,
then shaded for uniform color overall. A sealer is applied to the
front and back of all pieces to help stabilize the wood. Finally,
the mantels are hand sanded between each of the four or more coats
of lacquer, resulting in a richer, smoother finish. The lacquer is
pre-catalyzed lacquer, which protects the mantel longer from the effects
of heat, climate change and normal household wear.
- Surrounds are made to last from high-quality, fireproof
ceramic tile and stone imported from around the world.
- Stain resistant grout makes surrounds more durable
and easy to keep clean.
Selection
- Mantel Simplicity offers a choice of three mantel
styles, three finishes and four configurations (flush, slimline, cabinet
and corner) to suit your space requirements and décor.
- Surrounds are available in stone or tile in an array
of colors, enabling you to personalize the look without the cost and
complication of a custom product.
- Custom surrounds are available in many other tile
or stone choices. See our Hearth
Pad Color Options page and our Custom
Surround Color Options page for all our colors.
